By joining our team, you will be part of the Engineering department. This department is responsible for the development of our products, from concept to testing and supports colleagues and customers during the delivery and product lifetime. Engineering consists of 25-30 multidisciplinary team members, divided into two teams: new product innovation (NPI) and continuous product improvement (CPI).
You support our success by:
- Optimizing and expanding existing software capabilities to enable cost-effective and reliable solutions on IAI machines.
- Translating new developments to new IAI applications and system specifications.
- Co-determining the system architecture of IAI’s products.
- Developing software, from specification to documentation and training.
- Leading (major) projects, effectively managing resources and streamlining processes.
- Delivering secure software according applicable standards and secure software development cycle.
- Working with the software colleagues to improve and maintain quality of software and updates.
- Enhancing company-wide knowledge on the designated technology across departments to minimize field issues and improve machine setup efficiency.
- Improving field performance and customer satisfaction by supporting training, transfer knowledge support on technical questions and solving software related issues.
- Supporting the drive to achieve a 50% EBIT on service by reducing corrective visits and adhering to higher performance SLA's.
- Mentoring and teaching software colleagues, spreading expertise across departments.
Your experience includes:
- Proven experience in software development of C# hardware applications.
- Preferred experience in software development of C, python, QnX and other software applications.
- Strong project management skills with a proactive and practical approach.
- Deep technical knowledge of the designated technology market and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Deep understanding of software in relation to hardware applications, especially in C#, but also knowledge and use of other software languages like C, C++, python, etc.
- Experience in application of windows operating systems.
- Comprehensive experience in delivering secure software.
- Awareness of industry standards and best practices.
- Understanding of customer requirements and security demands, especially in emerging markets.
- Experience with product development and industrialization processes.
- Ability to lead projects, manage resources effectively, and streamline processes.
- Proficiency in planning, budgeting, and executing projects within set timelines.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing technical solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations, project plans, and technical documents.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Skills in mentoring and teaching team members to spread expertise across departments.
